My wife and I just happened to end up here out of the blue and found out they are serving Dinner with a capital D! I had the short rib with Brussels sprouts over mashed potatoes. Honestly I'd come back just for the compounded butter. The wait staff was super friendly and the fig-mocktail was a huge hit with my wife. Tied up really nicely with a bowl of peach cobbler and some beignets.

French Toast Bistro is so good. I went for brunch and ended up coming back the next day because everything we tried hit. The shrimp and grits were delicious, and I really appreciated being able to sub turkey for the andouille sausage since I don’t eat pork. The Creole Board is a must—fried green tomatoes and shrimp? Yes, please. We also tried the chicken Alfredo, the crab cake eggs benedict, and the lobster omelette (I swapped the grits for potatoes and it was perfect). The beignets? Don’t skip them. Just trust me. Service was super friendly, the restaurant was really clean, and our server told us cocktails are coming soon—so yeah, I’ll definitely be back for that. Chill vibe, great food, 10/10.

Dinner was fantastic! I had the steak fries and my husband had the short ribs. We both loved them. Very delicious fig mocktail, peach cobbler and beignets. Amazing, friendly service. Will definitely come again for dinner!

Discovered a lovely new spot in Clawson, Michigan! The portion sizes were generous, and everything we tried was delicious especially the avocado toast and veggie omelette. To top it off, they surprised us with complimentary beignets! Definitely coming back.

We tried breakfast from here and it was very good. Everything we ordered was fresh and had very good flavor. The Cajun was our favorite, it has a slight kick to it too. Service was very good and the place is very clean. Will go back for sure, highly recommend!

We were in the area looking for a brunch spot and drove past the new location. French toast sounded great, so we stopped in. It is a very small restaurant and was busy. We were lucky and a table was free when we got there. The waitress was great! I should have went with one of the many options of French toast, everyone else in my group did and said it was delicious. They tried the peach cobbler FT, the berry FT, and the cinnamon crunch FT and they all looked and tasted fantastic. I got the crab cake Benny with the house hash. The crab cakes were good, the hash was basically fried or baked sliced potatoes. Not what I was expecting and unfortunately they were not fully cooked. I would go back again, the one item was we did wait a long time for the food after we ordered.
